The fourth consignment of service dogs arrived from Europe to Ukraine


The fourth batch of 10 service dogs arrived in Ukraine on 14 October. Law enforcers also received four special vehicles.
In general, at the initiative of the Howard Buffett Foundation, 100 German Shepherd and Malinois (Belgian Shepherd) service dogs, as well as four special Toyota Hilux vehicles have already been transferred to Ukraine from various European countries. This is reported by the National Police.
The fourth batch of 10 service dogs arrived in Ukraine on 14 October. Also law enforcers received 4 special cars. In the future, the dogs will be transferred to the cynological police centres of Volyn, Ternopil, Cherkasy and Chernivtsi regions, and the cars - to the police of Lviv, Donetschyna, Kherson and Kharkiv regions, - is said in the message.
All puppies under the age of one year have undergone a basic training course. In the future, they will receive special training, after which the dogs will help in demining, search for explosives and drugs, as well as other tasks in the de-occupied territories.
In addition to the dogs, the police canines also received the necessary accessories for their care, food, ammunition, educational and training equipment and the like.
