The State Border Service explained what documents a Ukrainian citizen who has three or more children under the age of 18 must present when traveling abroad.

This is reported by the State Border Guard Service.

The State Border Service explained that, in accordance with Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine “On mobilization training and mobilization”, categories are defined, both for women and men, who are supported by three or more children under the age of 18.

The determining factor is the content, not paternity.

Thus, the determining factor is not paternity, but the maintenance of three or more children, the report says.

To cross the border, it is enough for a man to present supporting documents on the maintenance of three or more children. Such documents are: birth certificates of three or more children or a certificate of registration of marriage with the mother of these children and, accordingly, birth certificates of these children, or a court decision on divorce and determination of the place of residence of children with their father, or a court decision on divorce and decisions of the guardianship and guardianship body on determining the place of residence of children with their father or a certificate of the father of a large family.

Colonel Igor Matviychuk, head of the border control organization department of the Western Regional Department of the State Border Service, emphasizes that if a man does not live with his children, it is necessary to provide evidence of the child or children. Such documents are: a court decision on the appointment of alimony for the maintenance of a child or children and a certificate from the executive service on the absence of arrears in the payment of alimony, the amount of payment of such alimony.

The department reminded that it is possible to use "Diya" when crossing the border, if all the evidence is in the application.
