The AFU said why the Russians often shell their territory

Russian aviation has dropped about a hundred aerial bombs on its territory this year alone. The chairman of the Council of Army Reservists, Ivan Tymochko, drew attention to this on the air of the TV channel.

He pointed out that such cases could be explained by some factors.

In particular, Tymochko said that the weapons produced in Russia are bad.

"The enemy has serious problems with the quality of aerial bombs. This saves us - that these bombs are not only inaccurate, but the technological gliding means are not always perfect, not always open. And then these bombs fall on Russian territory," he noted.

In addition, he noted, the invaders are afraid to approach the border to drop bombs, because then they can be shot down by the Ukrainian air defence system.

Despite the massing of Russian aviation, they do not fly close to the front line, because then their sales become almost guaranteed. Therefore, they try to operate from a distance of at least 50 kilometres from the front line, and this causes a number of technical problems," he said.
