Russia fears a Ukrainian offensive and is pulling additional forces to the front.
The Russian Federation has concentrated 52,000 military personnel in the Bakhmut direction. In total, there are about 150 thousand occupants in the eastern direction. This was reported by the head of the press service of the Eastern grouping of troops Ilya Yevlash said on the air of the telethon.
According to him, on the Bakhmut direction also the enemy holds 274 tanks, more than a thousand armoured vehicles, 150 artillery systems and more than 120 multiple rocket launcher systems.
In the Eastern direction, Russia keeps about a thousand tanks, about three thousand armoured fighting vehicles, a thousand artillery systems and 600 MLRS systems.
Yevlash stressed that the Ukrainian Defence Forces are preventing the enemy from breaking through the Ukrainian defence.
Even with smaller forces, having the enemy's dominance in the air, we continue to move forward, and even with fewer losses," he pointed out.
According to the representative of the Eastern Group of Forces, the enemy's losses exceed Ukraine's losses by 7-8 times.
