Regular sex can be the prevention of an unpleasant disease.

It is enough to have sex four times a week to protect yourself from bladder stones. Moreover, experts insist that sex can not only be a prevention of the disease, but also a panacea for the presence of stones in the bladder, as well as in the kidneys, writes the New York Post.

In particular, urologists from Airlanga University in Surabaya (Indonesia) came to such a scientific discovery. They explained that during orgasm and ejaculation, the bladder neck contracts and relaxes, helping the stones to pass out. As a result, the stones easily leave the body when going to the toilet.

The scientists made their conclusions based on the analysis of several observations. Their essence boiled down to the fact that several hundred volunteers were asked to have sex or masturbate three or four times a week, and the second group of subjects - to abstain from sex and masturbation. As the results of the experiment showed, sexually active participants were 5.7 times more likely to get rid of microstones.

What's more, sex also helped alleviate the discomfort that kidney stones can cause. After regular sex, 62% of participants in this group needed less pain relief during attacks associated with the passage of stones through the body. In addition, there was a 20% reduction in the number of those who would need surgery to crush kidney stones.

Doctors emphasize that stones in the bladder or kidneys are not such a harmless phenomenon and in many cases their presence implies surgical intervention. In addition, they pointed to statistics and noted that kidney or bladder stones are observed in 10% of the British, and they usually begin to form in people after 30 years.

We add that the diagnosis of kidney stones requires the study of biochemical parameters of urine and blood, ultrasound of a particular organ, excretory urography, computed tomography (MSCT), radioisotope nephroscintigraphy.

The reasons for the formation of stones in the kidneys and / or bladder can be: defects in the development of the kidneys, monotonous nutrition and the abuse of fried, fatty, smoked and salty foods, infection, non-compliance with the drinking regime, hot climate, endocrine diseases.
