Situation on the front: In Kherson region, occupants use people as human shields during evacuations

This was reported by the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff.

The Ukrainian military reported that 30 military clashes took place on the front during the day.

The Russians attempted to advance near the village of Veseloye, Donetsk Region, in the Limansk direction.

Near Bakhmut, the enemy attacked in the direction of Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, Ivanivka and Severnoye, without success. Near Marinka, the AFU also repulsed numerous enemy attacks, inflicting significant losses.

At the same time, Ukrainian military aviation forces carried out 23 strikes against areas where personnel were concentrated and four strikes against enemy surface-to-air missile systems.

Situation of the Kakhovka hydropower plant

The General Staff also reports that the occupiers were not prepared for the consequences of the explosion at the hydropower plant. They suffered losses in manpower, arms and military equipment.

The 7th Airborne Assault Division and the 22nd Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces say separately that there are people injured, killed and missing in action. Also, several field depots with ammunition and provisions, vehicles and armoured vehicles and other military equipment have been lost in the aforementioned units.

In the city of Kakhovka, the evacuation of civilians began. But along with civilians from the city the occupants began to flee. The occupiers used local residents as human shields.
