In general, 331 critical infrastructure facilities need to be restored by the heating season.

The head of the Ukrainian Cabinet, Denim Shmygal, said the country is 60% ready for the cold weather. So, according to him, 60% of the infrastructure providing heat supply is prepared for operation. He announced this at a government meeting.

Preparation work is carried out daily. The state of readiness of houses for winter is 56%, networks - 57%, and heating facilities - 58%, the prime minister specified.

He noted that the government is preparing for possible emergencies. The country creates an additional equipment stock in case of infrastructure damage during the heating season. The government allocated 1.4 billion hryvnias for it.

To date, 141 heating facilities have already been repaired, and two thermal power plants damaged as a result of shelling, Shmyhal added.

In general, by the heating season in the country, it is necessary to restore 331 critical infrastructure facilities that provide heat and hot water supply.

Recall that a mass evacuation of residents is being carried out from the Donetsk region at this time. The reason is the inability to provide people in the area with heat, electricity, and water in winter. The government plans to resettle more than 200 thousand people, including about 50 thousand children.
