Germany is ready to provide security guarantees to Ukraine, but is not yet ready to specify them.
This was stated by Chancellor Olaf Scholz, reports "European Truth" with reference to Sueddeutsche.
As indicated, at the moment, guarantees should be discussed with allies in the North Atlantic Alliance. However, they cannot be analogous to NATO's provisions on collective defense.
The question of how this can be organized is being discussed among the G7 countries, as well as those who are ready to give such guarantees. Germany is one of these countries, Mr. Scholz said.
