Russian troops shell two Ukrenergo substations

Russian troops targeted two Ukrenergo substations with "Shaheds" on the night of Friday, 2 February. This was reported by Ukrenergo.

On the night of 2 February Russian UAVs were purposefully attacked 2 substations of NEC Ukrenergo, - stated in the message.

As a result of the attack on one of them the equipment was damaged, the personnel was not injured. Thanks to the installed defence, a fire was avoided.

Domestic and industrial consumers in the city of Krivoy Rog and some industrial consumers in the Dnieper region were de-energised.

Emergency recovery works started immediately after the military authorisation. Consumers continue to be energised using backup schemes.
