Police neutralised two downed Russian Federation Geranium-2 drones

Police explosive technicians have defused two Russian drones shot down during enemy shelling of Kharkiv and Mykolaiv Region. This was reported by the National Police on 1 February.

Russian attack drones "Geran-2", which attacked the civilian population, carried on board about 45 kg of explosives, which is equivalent to 2-3 artillery shells of 152-mm calibre, - the police said.

One of the downed drones was found in a field near a village in the Mykolayiv region. The warhead of the "Geranium" was in a detonated state with a fuse. Explosive technicians destroyed it by detonation.

In Kharkiv region, the deadly warhead of the downed UAV "Geranium-2" had to be manually removed by police officers from the territory of a household.

Then it was loaded into a special vehicle, taken outside the city and destroyed.
