Russian troops launched a missile attack on Izyum at night. The Palace of Culture built 100 years ago was destroyed.
In Izium, Kharkiv Region, a Russian 9M723 Iskander missile has destroyed the Zheleznodorozhnik Palace of Culture, which is an architectural monument. This was reported by the National Police on 20 May.
on 20 May at about 01:00 the Russian military shelled the town of Izium with 9M723 Iskander missile. The hit was recorded in the Palace of Culture "Railwayman". The building is an architectural monument," the police said.
As a result of the hit, a part of the historic building was destroyed. There were no casualties or fatalities.
Investigative and operational teams, criminalists and explosion technicians worked at the scene. On the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war in the police opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
