Russia launched a missile attack on the centre of Sumy - there are wounded
on 24 March, Russian troops hit the centre of Sumy city with missiles. Multi-storey residential buildings and a school were damaged. This was reported by the head of the Sumy OVA, Volodymyr Artyukh.
According to him, children were in shelter during the attack - they were evacuated, none of them were injured. However, it is known about 28 wounded - among them 24 adults and 4 children.
The strike also damaged city infrastructure and children's hospital facilities. Rescuers are working on the spot, putting out fires and providing assistance to the injured.
We shall remind you that on the evening of 19 March, the Russian army carried out a massive attack on Kropyvnytskyy. At that time, 10 people were injured, including four children. Residential houses and infrastructure facilities were damaged.
