- Russian Federation attacked Odessa during Zelensky's visit with Greek PM

On the morning of 6 March, Russians attacked Odessa, resulting in deaths and injuries.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis were visiting the city at the time of the shelling. About it reports Suspilne.
We saw this strike today. You see who we are dealing with, they do not care where to hit. I know that today there were victims, I do not know all the details yet, but I know that there are dead, there are wounded, - said Zelensky.
According to him, the Russian army does not care where to hit: military or civilians. Therefore, Ukraine first of all needs protection, namely an air defence system.
The Ukrainian president and the Greek prime minister were in the port at the time of the attack. Explosions went off in the vicinity.
President Zelensky and his staff showed us and explained to us the importance of the port and what is being done to restore and strengthen the Ukrainian sea route and what damage was sustained during the attacks. Already at the very end we heard the sound of sirens and explosions that were very close to us. We did not have time to escape to a protected place, it is a very impressive experience," said Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The air alert in Odessa was announced at 10:41 and lasted until 11:18.
Greek publication Protothema.gr specifies that the explosion occurred 150 metres away from the delegation.
