Russia plans its offensive in early summer - Zelensky

In the war with the Russian Federation, 2024 will be a decisive year.
Russia is preparing for counter-offensive actions in late May or early summer. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this at a news conference. However, he stressed that Kiev was aware of the enemy's plans and that Ukrainian defenders would meet the enemy.
According to the president, the turning point in the confrontation will be the US presidential election. And the coming months will be particularly difficult.
It will be difficult for us in the coming months, because there are fluctuations in the US, which has an influence on some states, although the EU has shown the ability to be leaders. It will be difficult for us in March-April, we will go through such a period of waves, both political and financial, different pressures," he said.
The President noted that Ukraine will prepare for this fight.
Their fight, which started on 8 October, did not bring any result. For our part, we will prepare our plan and follow it," he said.
The Ukrainian leader added that Ukraine was preparing for its new counter-offensive.
There is a plan. The plan is clear. I cannot tell you the details. I do not have the right to do so. This plan is related to the change of leadership, yes, there are relevant changes there. Several plans will be prepared due to information leaks," the president said.
At the same time, the president said that the Ukrainian military would be able to push back the Russian army again when the advantage of the occupants in artillery is significantly reduced.
