Russia attacked Mykolaiv: educational institutions destroyed, some dead
2 people were released from the rubble. 1 woman died. 5 people were injured.
This was announced by the mayor of the city Alexander Senkevich.
At night, the Russians fired S-300 missiles. As a result of the shelling, residential buildings and an educational institution were destroyed.
One of the missiles hit the building of the First Ukrainian Gymnasium. Arkasa was one of the oldest educational institutions in the city.
The Deputy Head of the President's Office said in his telegram channel:
The remaining three missiles hit the territory of the "Nikolaev Polytechnic Professional College". As a result of the shelling, a 4-storey college building was partially destroyed. Damaged near the private sector and apartment buildings. Fires broke out in the warehouse of the college and in a 5-story residential building nearby.
As a result of the attack, fire and rescue units carried out rescue and other urgent work. 2 people were released from the rubble. 1 woman died. 5 people were injured. Another 12 people received first aid. They were blocked in their apartments as a result of the explosion.
