The plan for Russia's takeover of Belarus is divided into three stages: until 2022, until 2025 and until 2030.

This is stated in documents accessed by Kyiv Independent journalists, as well as journalists from Delfi (Estonia), Belarusian Investigative Center (Belarus), Yahoo News (USA) and others.

According to these documents, the plan to take over Russia is divided into three stages: short-term (until 2022), medium-term (until 2025) and long-term (2030).

According to the document, over these 9 years the Kremlin intends to:

  • establish the dominance of the Russian language over the Belarusian language,
  • to adjust the Belarusian legislation to the Russian one,
  • subjugate the socio-political, commercial, scientific and cultural life of Belarus,
  • increase the military presence on the territory of Belarus,
  • hand out Russian citizenship to Belarusians.

Russia's goal for the period until 2030 is to completely transform Belarusian law into Russian law, control and manage the country's foreign policy in the interests of the Russian Federation, increase its military presence in the country, dominate the Belarusian information space and increase the number of Russian media outlets, achieve supremacy of the Russian language over the Belarusian language and introduce a simplified procedure for issuing Russian passports to Belarusian citizens in order to "create a layer of Russians interested in integration.

According to journalists, the document on the integration of Belarus into the Russian Federation was developed by the administration of the Russian president together with the Foreign Intelligence Service, the FSB, the GRU and the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
