Rescue operations at the site of missile attack completed in Kharkiv: 46 people injured

The Russians struck at the location of the police officers.



On the night of 1 to 2 November, rescuers completed search operations and debris removal of the destroyed building. About 200 cubic metres of debris were removed from the site.

The number of injured as a result of the strike on the place of deployment of law enforcers in Kharkiv has increased to 46 people. Among the victims: 36 law enforcers, a rescuer and 9 civilians. It is also known about the death of police Colonel Andrei Matvienko. This was reported in the state emergency service of Kharkiv region.

On the evening of 1 November, the Russians hit a police station in the centre of Kharkiv. Preliminarily, the occupants used S-300 missiles.

During the strike, 20 residential houses and 6 non-residential premises, as well as 19 vehicles were damaged.

Law enforcers opened criminal proceedings for violation of laws and customs of war under part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
