Estonian intelligence: Russian threat to Baltic security growing

Russia's military presence near the borders of the Baltic states could be restored in four years, the intelligence service said.
In a Voice of America report:
A military attack on Estonia is unlikely in 2023" because of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, but "in the medium to long term, Russia's belligerence and foreign policy ambitions have significantly increased security risks for Estonia. "Russia views the Baltic states as the most rarefied part of NATO, making them the centre of military pressure in case of conflict between NATO and Russia.
Russia's military presence near the borders of the Baltic states could be restored in four years, the intelligence service has said. Russia's plan to hold large-scale military exercises near its western borders two years earlier than planned could further aggravate the situation in the Baltic region this year, it said in a statement.
