British intelligence reveals what will happen to Bakhmut if Russia advances on Soledar

The Russian army has thrown a lot of forces in the Soledar direction. According to the British, the Russian army and the Wagner PMC have advanced in Soledar in the last four days. Most likely, Russia wants to capture Soledar to then encircle Bakhmut from the north and disrupt the Ukrainian supply lines.

At the same time, it should be noted that the AFU General Staff reports that the Ukrainian military manages to repulse attacks near Bakhmut and Soledar.

British intelligence believes that despite the increased pressure in the Bakhmut area, the Russian Federation is unlikely to be able to take the city any time soon as the Ukrainian military maintains stable defensive lines and control over supply routes.
