The publication warns that soon the government program "Houses for Ukrainians" will cease to operate for immigrants from Ukraine who have stayed in the UK for more than six months. this means that the country's authorities will stop paying £350 a month to homeowners who host Ukrainians.
According to the government, about 84,000 people are in the UK under the Homes for Ukrainians program, which has been operating since March.
With the termination of this program to support the British, about 15-21 thousand Ukrainians may lose their temporary shelter by the winter. It is known that some of the inhabitants of Foggy Albion said that without state assistance they would not be able to be hospitable further.
It is known that more than 100,000 Ukrainian migrants have entered the UK since February 24.
