After the victory in Ukraine, two categories of veterans will appear

Some of the veterans will be engaged in the economy.
After the end of the war on the territory of Ukraine, the authorities plan to distinguish two categories of veterans - "defenders and breadwinners." Yulia Laputina, Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, spoke about this in an interview with NV.
The first will continue to engage in military affairs, others will return to civilian life and economic recovery, she explained.
The Minister noted that the process of transition from the protector to the breadwinner will be moderated - smooth and comprehensive, with "obtaining tools for human development."
According to her, this means, in particular:
- getting a new civic education;
- psychological rehabilitation;
- development of veteran entrepreneurship
After the victory, we must be ready to accept the second front - the economic one. And to make sure that our defenders, who will go to the civilian sector, develop the economy of Ukraine, and we support them and provide appropriate tools for this,” she added.
Laputina believes that at the end of the war there may be about 5 million veterans in Ukraine. According to her, before the full-scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine, there were about 500 thousand people who are members of the ATO or the JFO.
