Podolyak said what Blinken's arrival in Ukraine means

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken paid a visit to Ukraine this week.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken's visit to Ukraine this week signalled two aspects: The U.S. remains with Ukraine, and the White House wants to take a closer look at Ukraine's needs for victory. Mikhail Podolyak, advisor to the Office of the President, told FREEDOM TV channel.
The first is absolute symbolism, which should once again kill all conspiracy theories and show that the pro-Ukrainian coalition (in which the United States is dominant) will maximally support Ukraine up to the final in this war. Second, Blinken was able to study Ukraine's needs at this stage of the war on the ground," Podolyak pointed out.
He said that during his visit to Ukraine Blinken met with the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhny and the President. At the same time, the parties discussed how to accelerate the offensive and what weapons Ukrainian defenders need.
In particular, Podolyak pointed out, Kiev stressed that the AFU needs additional missile defence systems to close the sky from constant Russian attacks.
Russia uses missiles for psychological influence. We need aviation tools. The President has repeatedly said that as long as Russia dominates in the air, the offensive is slower than we would like," Podolyak said.
We will remind, while in Kiev, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced the allocation of more than a billion dollars of aid to Ukraine. It includes $665 million for civil security. In total, the U.S. has transferred aid to Ukraine since the start of the war more than 43 billion dollars,.
