Pentagon: NASAMS air defense will be in Ukraine in the next 2-3 months

A Pentagon official said that NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems were produced and purchased specifically for Ukraine.
Anti-aircraft missile systems "NASAMS" will be delivered to Ukraine not from US stocks. The United States purchased and now produce air defense systems specifically for Ukraine. Therefore, Ukraine will receive "NASAMS" in the next 2-3 months. This was reported by American journalist Caitlin Doornbos on Twitter.
Recall that the US announced the transfer of two NASAMS batteries to Ukraine back in July.
Also on August 19, the United States announced a new $755 million military aid package for Ukraine.
