- Part of Mykolaiv left without heating due to Russian attack

For at least two days in the cold weather, some of the citizens will be without heating.
Russian troops damaged a thermal power plant (TPP) during a night attack on Mykolaiv. Without heat supply remain 46 thousand subscribers. This was reported by Prime Minister Denis Shmigal in Telegram.
He drew attention to the fact that the temperature outside is minus and many civilians were in unbearable conditions.
This was done deliberately to leave people without heat at sub-zero temperatures and create a humanitarian disaster. Now 46 thousand subscribers remain without heat supply," he says.
Shmygal notes that 67 points of indestructibility have already been deployed in the city, connection of 3 modular boiler houses in health care institutions has begun. He also instructed to hold a meeting of the State Commission on technogenic-environmental safety and emergencies on this issue. Based on its results, a number of measures will be taken to provide heat to the city residents.
Nikolaev mayor Alexander Senkevich said on the air of the telethon that an employee of the Nikolaev CHPP suffered because of the attack and is in hospital. It is also known that the "electricity generation" is completely destroyed.
It can not be restored in the near future. And today we have the main goal - to start heating at least that part of the CHPP, which worked for heating the citizens, - he said.
According to the mayor, it will be a hard two days, because weather forecasters warn of a drop in temperature outside.
At the moment we are already connecting three hospitals to the boiler houses, which Denmark helped to buy - modular boiler houses on biofuel, and in the next six hours they will work," said Senkevich.
Recall, at night the enemy made a massive attack on the city, damaged not only critical infrastructure, but also as a result of falling debris and the action of the blast wave damaged five apartment buildings.
