Overnight Russian troops attacked Kyiv with drones: what is known

On the night of 18 July, Russian troops attacked Kyiv with drones, which were destroyed by air defence on the approaches to the capital. This was reported by the KGBA.
During one of the last air alerts for Kyiv there was a real threat of the use of UAVs by the enemy. A certain number of enemy drones were headed for the capital, but were defeated by the forces and means of air defence on the approaches, - stated in the message.
In the network there was information about the alleged fall of debris in the Darnitsa district of Kyiv. Promptly was carried out a survey of the specified area by detachments of operational services.
Fortunately, the consequences of the shelling were not found. There were no destructions or casualties in Kyiv.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said in the evening of 17 July that explosions were heard during an air alert on the left bank of Kyiv. Later he reported a fire in the Darnitsky district.
Earlier, Socialportal reported that as a result of shelling in Kyiv, one of the buildings of the children's hospital Okhmatdet was completely destroyed.
