Ukraine is ready to consider an exchange of any Russian to bring Ukrainians back home.

Ukrainian ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets said in an interview with Radio Liberty that Ukraine was ready to consider various options for an exchange of prisoners between Kiev and Moscow, but the exchange could only involve the military:

I would not like to escalate the issue specifically on representatives of the church. I can say that any Russian citizen interested by the Russian authorities, we are ready to consider any options to return them to the territory of Russia to return our heroes. We can only exchange prisoners of war

Lubinets clarified that Ukraine can only release civilians as part of "mutual obligations":

Or, for example, after conviction, send them to the territory of the Russian Federation to serve their sentences. It is very important for us, firstly, to find legal grounds. And we have them. And we have different options. And secondly: yes, we are ready to do it

He also said that the occupiers are holding about 150 Ukrainians in the scandalous colony Olenivka in Donetsk Region. According to him, there are military and civilians among the prisoners:

We are not allowed there again. Apparently, we will get access to Yelenivka only after our AFU liberates the place. According to our information, 150 Ukrainian citizens remain there now
