Invaders burn crops in fields - Vilkul

In the Krivoy Rog region, due to the strikes of the occupation troops, a fire broke out on several dozen hectares of fields, the fire destroyed the crop. This was stated by the head of the military administration of Krivoy Rog Alexander Vilkul during a briefing for journalists.

In the Krivoy Rog region, the occupiers attacked the area of Velyka Kostroma. Near Maryansky, due to shelling, there was a fire on several tens of hectares of fields. The crop is destroyed by fire. But our rescuers managed to localize and extinguish the fire so that the fire did not cover a large area. There are no victims, thank God," he said.

In addition, Vilkul said that the enemy covered the border areas with volley fire: the areas of the settlements of Novovorontsovka, Oskorovka, Trudolyubovka and others.

Also, the Russians hit in the Potemkino area - this is the liberated part of the Kherson region.

As previously reported in the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, 1.1 million tons of new crop grain have been harvested in the country.

Threshed:

• 717.8 thousand tons of winter barley (254.3 thousand hectares with a yield of 28.2 q/ha);
• 355.8 thousand tons of winter wheat (147.9 thousand ha, with a yield of 24.1 q/ha);
• 24.6 thousand tons of peas (15.1 thousand hectares, with a yield of 16.2 q/ha).

Eight regions have started harvesting winter rapeseed, they have already harvested on an area of 43.5 thousand hectares (4%), 67.3 thousand tons of seeds have been harvested, the yield is 15.5 centners per hectare.

Ukraine expects to harvest about 50 million tons of grain this year. In addition, a harvest of 15 million tons of oilseeds is expected.
