Huge crater in Belgorod - what caused the explosion

The bomb that fell and exploded in Belgorod was most likely intended for residents of Kharkiv.

On the evening of 20 April, information about a massive explosion in Belgorod appeared in local Belgorod subpublics and Russian media outlets.
Then locals started posting photos of a huge crater in one of the city's streets. The size of the hole was about 20-25 metres.
The explosion was powerful, that of parked cars was thrown onto the roof of a neighbouring shop.

The Russian propagandists immediately started blaming the Ukrainian troops for everything.
However, the Russian Defence Ministry then issued a statement.
Shoygu described the bomb blast as an "abnormal aircraft munition failure".
