NATO general makes alarming prediction about the Russian army

NATO must prepare for Russian aggression.
Regardless of the outcome of the war in Ukraine, Russia's army will be stronger after the war than it is today and will pose a threat to the alliance because the Russian armed forces are learning, improving and applying the experience of war. This was stated by the commander of NATO forces in Europe Christopher Cavoli, Der Spiegel reports.
Christopher Kavoli noted the need for NATO to be ready for possible Russian aggression and called to prepare for a direct clash.
We are seriously preparing for a defence situation. How long will it take us to be ready? For a commander like me, troops are never ready enough, you always want more. But we are working hard, we are getting better, we can already execute the defence plans we have developed to a certain level," Cavoli said.
He emphasised that the Russians will be angry after the war is over and will see NATO countries as the enemy at their border.
The commander of Alliance Forces in Europe added that the new Alliance defence plans and related additional requirements for individual NATO member states need to be implemented quickly.
