about author The priority now is to reinforce the Ukrainian air defence with sufficient ammunition.
Boris Pistorius, head of the German Defence Ministry, said this in an interview with Tagesschau.
The minister spoke about possible deadlines for considering the issue:
If the skies over Ukraine are safe in the next three to four months, then we can talk about all further steps. Only then does it make sense.
Pistorius said that the issue of fighter jets would be discussed in Brussels.
We shall remind you that the head of the German Christian-Democratic Union, Friedrich Merz, said earlier that Germany might provide Ukraine with fighter jets, nothing can be ruled out in this war.
