Lugansk region will freeze - Gaidai

A difficult winter is waiting for those who stay to spend the winter in the occupied territory of the Luhansk region. This was stated by the chairman of the Lugansk Regional State Administration Sergei Gaidai in Telegram . He noted that it would be impossible to spend the heating season in the region due to the fact that long battles were fought on its territory. According to him, the invaders have not yet done anything to restore the destroyed infrastructure and prepare cities and villages for the cold season.

Saved houses in cities will be finished off by winter, after exposure to low temperatures it will be impossible to restore them. Most city dwellers will try to go to the countryside and spend the winter in abandoned houses, Gaidai believes.

He did not rule out that the residents of the region would "look for a way out of the situation in parks and gardens" - cutting down the green massif in the desire to keep warm.

Firewood will be used exclusively for heating buildings, but it is dangerous to bring it from the forest because of mining, so parks and trees in yards will be cut down, he said.

Earlier, Gaidai noted that the invaders had practically cut off the residents of the region from the Internet. First of all, so that people are not informed about the offensive of the Ukrainian army. He also announced the forced mobilization of men in the region.

Among the latest tricks of the occupiers is the use of civilian minibuses with the inscription "For sale", which do not cause a sense of danger until the military comes out to pick you up, - said Gaidai.

It should be noted that today most of the region remains under the occupation of the Russians.
