The supply of tanks to Ukraine used to be a red line too.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said this, the publication reported on Delfi.

Nauseda called on international partners to cross the "red lines" and send Ukraine fighter jets and long-range missiles to fight against Russian aggression.

I have seen many red lines that have been drawn, and sometimes I even have an impression that these red lines are drawn not by us, Western countries, democratic states, but by the terrorist state of Russia, using fear and threats.

The Lithuanian President noted that the status of candidate to the EU was also once a taboo for Ukraine. He also reminded that at the beginning of the war Germany had only sent Ukraine helmets and bullet-proof waistcoats, and now this country is giving Ukraine tanks.

The Lithuanian president stressed that fighter jets and long-range missiles were important military aid for Ukraine.
