People continue to be evacuated from Donetsk region


In total, the government intends to evacuate about 200 thousand people, including more than 50 thousand children.
During the first week of mandatory evacuation from the Donetsk region, the authorities, with the help of volunteers, evacuated about two thousand residents of the region. They have been moved to safer cities where they receive material, social and psychological assistance. This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine in Telegram .
They separately noted that people were evacuated along with their pets.
The mandatory evacuation of the civilian population from the Donetsk region, announced by the government, has begun. During the first week, more than 2,000 citizens were evacuated, including women, children, the elderly and people with limited mobility. Recall that the Coordinating Headquarters for the evacuation from Donbass is headed by Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk.
The report also notes that three more Ukrainian children were taken out and returned to their homeland from the territory of the Russian Federation.
In total, 50 children who were illegally taken to Russia have been returned to Ukraine to date, the ministry said.
Also, the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine published an algorithm of actions on how residents of the Donetsk region can be evacuated to a safe area.

- Get to the collection point, from where there will be a free delivery to the evacuation train in Pokrovsk.
- Take a free train to Kropyvnytskyi, get one-time cash assistance at the station Kropyvnytskyi or Oleksandriya (3,000 for people with disabilities and children, 2,000 for everyone else).
- Settle in the Kirovograd region. It's free.
For migrants, the authorities guarantee:
- free housing;
- free meals;
- humanitarian aid;
- psychological help;
- health care;
- social support when applying for assistance from international organizations through the "Edopomoga" platform.


Authorities note that it is possible to refuse evacuation. However, this must be done in writing. Officials also emphasize that in winter there will be neither electricity nor heating in the region.
