Washington has asked Tehran not to intervene in the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said that Israel with its actions "has crossed a red line that could force everyone to take action." This was said in a statement by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's press office on social network X.

Washington is asking us to do nothing, but they continue to provide extensive support to Israel. "The US sent signals to the 'Axis of Resistance' but received a clear answer on the battlefield," he wrote.

What is the "Axis of Resistance". According to Tehran's version, the "Axis of Resistance" is an unofficial alliance that brings together Iran, Syria, Iraqi Shiite militias, Lebanon's Hezbollah and Yemen's Houthi movement. Its aim is to combat US-Israeli influence in the Middle East.

US authorities have warned Iran not to intervene in the war in a bid to prevent a major regional conflict.

Since the war between Hamas militants and Israel began, Tehran has repeatedly made statements in support of the Palestinian movement and threatened Tel Aviv with serious consequences if it launches a ground operation in the Gaza Strip. At the same time, in response to a question on whether Tehran would take action in case of an Israeli ground operation in the Strip, Iran's post mission to the UN said that the condition for the country's entry into the conflict would be an attack on its territory.
