In the Kyiv region, a peat fire occurred: the kiyans are recommended to close the windows and limit their stay on the street.

The Kyiv City State Administration reported that a brigade of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine is working on the spot.

At the same time, the State Emergency Service of the Kyiv region stated that as of 18:00, there were no grounds for panic or unrest among citizens; rescuers were working in two directions, which provoked smoke.

The Kyiv City State Administration reminds us what to do in cases of smoke:

• limit your time outdoors. Children and pregnant women should avoid long walks;

• Keep windows closed, especially at night and in the early morning. When opening windows, hang the vents with a moistened cloth and change it periodically;

• Turn on air conditioning and air purification systems;

• Carry out wet cleaning; it is helpful to put containers with water to increase the humidity of the air;

• Increase fluid intake to 2-3 liters per day for adults. To compensate for the loss of salts and trace elements, it is recommended to drink salted and mineral alkaline water, lactic acid drinks (skim milk, whey), juices, mineralized drinks, and oxygen-protein cocktails.
