In some areas of Kyiv, forced evacuation may be announced

So far, the decision on forced evacuation has not been made, but the training of evacuation commissions is already underway. In an interview, the director of the Department of Municipal Security of the Kyiv City State Administration, Roman Tkachuk, announced this.

So far, no decision has been made on forced evacuation. People living near critical infrastructure should always be aware that these facilities can be hit. Therefore, everyone independently decides whether it is necessary to return to the city and live next to these objects,” Tkachuk said.

Roman Tkachuk told what evacuation options are being considered in the Kyiv City State Administration.

Now, if necessary, we are beginning to train these evacuation commissions, and we understand perfectly well how we will carry out the evacuation of a particular area or the entire city. We are considering options before forced evacuation; the system must be ready for this, - said the director of the Department of Municipal Security of the Kyiv City Administration.
