The shelling of Kherson caused fires, the arrived rescuers of the State Emergency Situations Service came under repeated enemy fire.
In Kherson on the night of 2 July, Russian troops massively shelled the city centre, the rescuers who arrived came under repeated shelling. This is reported by the State Emergency Situations Service.
Residential houses, an educational institution, a medical centre and an administrative building were damaged. Several fires broke out.
Rescuers who came to extinguish the fires came under repeated fire. Fortunately, none of them were injured.
All forces and means of fire and rescue units of Kherson were involved in extinguishing the fire.
The police said that due to the shelling of the Korabelny district of Kherson, a hospital, two multi-storey houses, three private houses and a critical infrastructure facility were damaged.
Two women aged 45 and 75 were injured, doctors treated them on the spot.
Police officers worked at the sites of shelling, who surveyed the areas, collected and recorded physical evidence of Russian aggression against civilians.
Earlier Socialportal reported that the missile attack on Kiev on Sunday, 30 June, was different from the numerous previous shellings of the Ukrainian capital.
