It is reported that the operation to liberate the island was attended by:

• grouping of naval forces;
• Bayraktar squadron;
• Air Force;
• rocket troops and artillery;
• units of the State Border Service, SBU and intelligence;
• other units from the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Alexandria".

The operation had several stages. First, Ukrainian troops cut off the logistical support of the Russian military on the island.

However, according to intelligence, Russia managed to deliver about three dozen pieces of equipment to Zmeiny, including the Tor-M2, Pantsir-S1, Grad and Tornado air defense systems. • MLRS "Tornado-G" - 1 unit;
• MLRS "Grad" - 1 unit;
• electronic warfare system - 1 unit;
