A total of 2,154 people, including 120 children, have been evacuated from the flooded areas of Kherson Oblast.



On the right bank of the Dnieper river, 28 settlements have been affected by flooding, 3329 houses have been flooded. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

According to the latest information, 484 people have been rescued, including 28 children. Psychological support was required for 188 citizens. There are 9 evacuation points on site.

There are 9 evacuation points deployed. Since the beginning of the work the Rescue Service has received 801 calls from citizens. To eliminate the consequences about 1817 people and more than 345 vehicles were involved, of which 809 rescuers and 171 vehicles and 45 watercraft from the State Emergency Service, reported the State Emergency Service.

The Kherson Regional State Administration adds that the evacuation of civilians continues. In Kherson district, 3,177 houses have been affected, 111 in Beryslav, and 41 in Kakhovka.

During the day, water reached Blagoveshchenskyi, Zimovnik, Kamyshyn, Priozernyi, Fedorovka, Tokarevka and Stepanovka of Kherson district. In these settlements, 295 houses were under water," said the head of the Kherson district administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
