The Russian civil war has officially begun - PMC Wagner


Prigozhin's rebellion: the Wagner PMCs have already taken over Voronezh and Rostov.
In the Voronezh region, one of the Wagner PMC convoys was attacked as it moved north. Aircraft were also triggered, using cast-iron. one of the Russian Ministry of Defence helicopters was shot down by the Wagnerians.

The Wagner PMC said a civil war has broken out in the Russian Federation.

Meanwhile, authorities in Rostov, Russia, are trying to reassure locals and say they have enough food for the near future. Clashes between supporters and opponents of the PMCs have started in the surprises of Russian cities.
A counter-terrorist operation has been declared in several regions and mass events have been cancelled.

A bridge across the Oka River near Serpukhov in the Moscow Region has been blocked.
Media reports say that 1,700 units of military equipment of the Wagner PMC, which the mercenaries used against Ukrainian defenders, have arrived in Russia from Ukraine.

UK Ministry of Defence analysts believe that the loyalty of Russian security forces - in particular the Rosgvardia - will be crucial to the course of the crisis in the coming hours.
The German government has said it is keeping a close eye on developments unfolding in Russia. The Polish and French presidents have made the same statements. Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Bilström tweeted a terse message: "The situation is serious"
