NATO chief believes Putin is planning a new war


Ukraine should get what it is asking for - NATO head.
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has said that Kremlin head Vladimir Putin is not going to stop, let alone make peace, but plans to step up military operations in Ukraine, Stoltenberg said at the Munich Security Conference, The Telegraph has said.
Stoltenberg said that amid Putin's statements about the possibility of peace talks, he was not actually planning to lower the temperature of the war.
Putin is not planning peace, he is planning a new war", Stoltenberg said.
The NATO chief said Putin's victory would create certain risks in Europe.
There are no options without risks, but the biggest risk is if Putin wins, he said.
Stoltenberg called on allies to increase weapons for Ukraine.
We must give Ukraine what it needs to win and prevail as a sovereign, independent state in Europe," he said.
He was supported by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunack and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
