General Staff update on Russian losses at the front


Dozens of enemy vehicles have been liquidated in the past 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders and protectors have eliminated around 400 more Russian invaders. More than 206,600 Russian servicemen have been eliminated in Ukraine since the start of the invasion. This is stated on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the AFU.
Total enemy combat losses from 24.02.22 to 28.05.23 are tentatively as follows:
- personnel - about 206,600 (+400) men eliminated;
- tanks - 3797 (+3) vehicles;
- armoured combat vehicles - 7456 (+7) units;
- artillery systems - 3,425 (+11) pcs;
- Multiple rocket launchers - 574 (+0) units;
- air Defence Forces - 329 (+0) units;
- aircraft - 313 (+0) units; helicopters - 298 (+0) units;
- helicopters - 298 (+0) units;
- Operational-tactical UAVs - 2993 (+3) units;
- cruise missiles - 1,056 (+0) units;
- ships/boats - 18 (+0) pcs;
- motor vehicles and tankers - 6192 (+9) units;
- special equipment - 451 (+2) units.
According to the General Staff, Russia is not giving up its attempts to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions and continues to deploy the majority of its personnel and military equipment there. Thus, over a 24-hour period on 27 May, units of the defence forces repulsed 21 enemy attacks.
We would like to add that on the night of 28 May, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with Iranian strike drones Shahed-136/131 from the northern direction-Bryansk Region, and from the southern direction-Krasnodar Region. The enemy attacked the country's military facilities and critical infrastructure in the central regions. As a result of successful combat operations by the AFU, 52 Shahed drones were destroyed.
