The Russians' troops are poorly supplied and trained, yet they are damaging the Ukrainian army in numbers.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said this in an interview withRadio Liberty.

Stoltenberg believes that the Russians in the Bakhmut direction have low quality in equipment and command. At the same time, the occupant is trying to compensate for all these shortcomings with quantity.

In the ranks of the Russian army we can see low morale, the equipment is often poor, the training is not very impressive. The command does not really work in many operations. But at the same time we see that what the Russian troops lack qualitatively, they are trying to make up for quantitatively.

The Russian troops are poorly resourced and trained, according to the NATO Secretary General. At the same time, they are still hurting the Ukrainian army, by their numbers.

Stoltenberg says the Russians are losing far more soldiers than the Ukrainians because they lack quality command and equipment, but Russia should not be underestimated.
