UN General Assembly adopts Ukrainian peace resolution on Thursday, 23 February

about author The resolution calls on Russia to halt hostilities and withdraw its troops from Ukraine in line with the founding UN Charter.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the broadcasting
141 countries voted for the resolution, seven voted against it, and 32 abstained. Belarus, Eritrea, Mali, North Korea, Russia, Nicaragua, and Syria voted against it.
The meeting was attended by diplomats from 193 UN member states and was dedicated to the anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine by the aggressor state of Russia.
Also presented at the meeting was the draft - "Principles underpinning a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in Ukraine" - presented by Ukraine.
