Evgeny Hudz returned to Kyiv after many years of emigration.

The musician announced his decision to return to Kyiv on his Facebook page.

Exactly where I need to be. Right place, right time,” Gudz wrote .

Yevgeny Hudz was born in Borodyanka near Kyiv.

He founded the punk rock band Gogol Bordello in 1999 in New York. "Gogol Bordello" collaborated with Madonna. Together they performed the hit "La Isla Bonita" at the London Live Earth concert on 7 July 2007 at Wembley Stadium.
