France says what Trump will do with Ukraine

Trump's election in the US has alarmed Europe and Kiev.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot has said that US President-elect Donald Trump will not cooperate with the Kremlin on the issue of Ukraine. The French diplomat believes that the new US leader will continue to support Kiev. The French Foreign Minister said this in an interview with Le Parisien.
At the same time, he emphasised that all negotiations regarding the end of the war on the territory of Ukraine should be attended by its officials, and he called negotiations behind Kiev's back impossible.
Barro added that Trump would not agree that the temporarily occupied territories would be ceded to Russia, as such a move would have consequences for Europe and the world as a whole.
Russia's conditions cannot be accepted by the US, as this would set a precedent with serious consequences in Europe and other parts of the world. It would consolidate the right of the strongest, with very serious consequences in Europe and other regions of the world," he explained.
The diplomat stressed that such annexations have not happened in the world for about 75 years.
At the same time, he did not speculate on the form of further US support for Ukraine.
