- Five more children returned to Ukraine
Four children from Kherson region are now in Ukraine together with their parents. A child from Donetsk was also brought home.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson OVA Alexander Prokudin.
Children at home! These words warm my parental heart. I am glad that 4 more children of Kherson with their parents are finally on the Ukrainian-controlled territory. And together with them a boy from Donetsk," he wrote in Telegram.
At the moment, the children together with their families are in Kyiv. They are provided with the necessary medical and psychological assistance.
A total of 156 children from the Kherson region managed to return to the controlled territory of Ukraine.
Alexander Prokudin added that the return of the families became possible thanks to the cooperation of Save Ukraine with the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, the Office of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, guardianship and custody agencies, children's affairs services.
