Eco-activist Greta Thunberg is on trial in Sweden


Climate activist Greta Thunberg has been put on trial in Sweden. She is accused of disobeying the police during a protest in June this year.
This is reported by the Associated Press.
on 19 June, Tumberg and other activists stopped traffic at the oil terminal of the port in Malmö. For this reason, the activists were detained by the police.
Thumberg was charged because she refused to comply with police orders to leave the scene during the protest," the report says.
It is noted that for the charges brought Tumberg is usually punished with a fine.
Recall, in Israel are protests over judicial reform. Residents of the country began a series of protests in January 2023 after the authorities decided to revise the judicial system. In particular, on 12 July, the participants of one of the actions blocked the road to the airport - this did not stop its work, however, more than 65 participants were detained by local police.
