The number of people missing from the Kakhovka hydropower plant explosion has risen


There are children among the missing.
As of now, 35 people have been reported missing due to an explosion and flooding in Kherson Region. Among them are children. This was reported by the Interior Ministry on Telegram.

They noted that as of 13:00, April 11, 46 settlements were flooded, of which 32 - in the territory controlled by Ukraine, 14 - in the temporarily occupied by the Russians. A total of 2,718 people, including 190 children, have been evacuated by rescuers, volunteers, law enforcers and local authorities.
In neighbouring Mykolayiv Region, 31 settlements have been flooded. A total of 982 people have been evacuated, including 167 children. One person has been killed.
It is noted that territories in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya regions are also flooded, but the situation there is not as severe.
To eliminate the consequences of the occupants blowing up the Kakhovska hydroelectric power plant in the region, 760 people and 174 units of equipment of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, including 47 watercrafts, have been engaged.
