The Russians hit the region with artillery.
In the afternoon on Saturday, 28 December, the Russians launched artillery strikes on the village of Belozerkah in Kherson Region. There are wounded, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, told Telegram.
According to him, because of the Russian shelling eight people were injured. Among them: children 15 and 16 years old, a 21-year-old young man, two men and three women. The victims received contusions, head injuries and blast injuries. They were taken to a medical facility.
A 16-year-old boy was also diagnosed with a shrapnel wound to the forehead. They were taken to hospital by ambulance, - noted in the administration.
Over 30 settlements in Kherson region were hit by Russian air and artillery strikes over the past 24 hours. At the same time, multi-storey buildings, eight private residences, garage and vehicles were damaged. Five residents were wounded as a result of the shelling.
Recently, Russian troops have increased shelling of Kherson and the right bank of the Kherson region. In addition, intelligence reports that the enemy is building up personnel in Russian-controlled territory for a likely offensive on Kherson itself. In addition, the Russians continue storming islands at the mouth of the Dnieper River, near Kherson.
Local authorities are urging people to leave dangerous areas of the region, which are under fire from the Russians.
